Mark Perpose, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Medication Management Provider

Aloha! My name is Mark, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, proudly educated at Seattle University. I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their mental health journey.

Coming from Hawaiʻi, the values of ʻohana (family) and aloha spirit (love, compassion, and mutual respect) have deeply shaped who I am and how I care for others. Growing up in a family and culture where mental health was not always openly discussed or understood, I developed a passion for breaking down stigma and making mental health care feel more approachable, comfortable, and accessible.

I bring over two and a half years of nursing experience in adolescent behavioral health, supporting young individuals through a variety of mental health challenges, along with prior experience caring for the adult and geriatric psychiatric population. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of mental health across the lifespan and shaped my commitment to individualized, patient-centered care.

As a new PMHNP, I'm looking forward to providing care for adolescents and adults experiencing a range of psychiatric concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. My goal is to build trusting, collaborative relationships and provide evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs, values, and goals. I strive to bring the spirit of aloha into my practice through compassion, respect, and genuine human connection.
