Marina Abram

Clinical Intern

Hello, my name is Marina and I am a graduate-level clinical mental health counseling student at
Antioch University Seattle.

I take pride in my ability to work with diverse groups of individuals, using a trauma-informed approach to help my clients navigate through intersecting identities, traumas, and other challenging experiences.

I am passionate about helping individuals pinpoint and process trauma, navigate through life challenges and life-transitions, and grapple with racial and social injustices. Through an integrative and person-centered therapeutic approach, with a foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), I work to help clients understand, process, and cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative experience between the client and therapist.

I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space that allows clients to comfortably show up as they are. I want to provide support and create a sense of hope that life can get better. It is important to me to help my clients develop resiliency and meaningful coping mechanisms. In my down time, I love to spend time with family and friends, and my little Shih Tzu. I am an avid reader, music lover, and concertgoer. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and have recently fallen in love with camping, thanks to YouTube.

I am looking forward to meeting you and supporting you through your healing journey.
